Thaicom, GGC, and TGO Sign MOU to Develop Sustainable Carbon Credits for Thailands Palm Oil Industry

Thaicom Public Company Limited (Thaicom) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Global Green Chemicals Public Company Limited (GGC) and the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO) to launch the project: "Development of Carbon Credits from Sustainable Palm Oil Cultivation."

The three parties will collaborate on feasibility studies and the application of science and technology to monitor palm oil plantations. This includes assessing carbon sequestration levels to register carbon credits under the Thailand Voluntary Emission Reduction Program (T-VER). This partnership marks a significant milestone in elevating the palm oil industry toward a sustainable, low-carbon society while adding significant value to Thailand’s palm oil products.
